I’d like to officially welcome everyone to “drewly noted!” This series will chronicle the mishaps and happenings of the main character Drew!

After much deliberation, I’ve decided to introduce his friends as the initial cast. I didn’t think this comic could survive with a little help from his friends. You’ll see these guys and more in future comics.

The characters and my style are very much in development. They’ll grow and evolve as my style does.

Again, welcome! I hope you guys enjoy these comics and the other series on the site!

The short answer would be just another video game webcomic.

The long answer is that these comics allow me to humorously tell people about how I feel about video games, life, and everything else inbetween. Hopefully it’ll be something that you will all enjoy!

Also, this will serve as my personal blog. Anything I draw, record, or write will be posted here as well. But more on that later.

Expect comic updates on Tuesday!

I went on a fishing trip with my friends for the first time in years recently. Since it was so long since I had went fishing (for real), I didn’t have the best idea in terms of what to expect

You might say I had high expectations for the trip. You might even say that my expectations were too high, as no one caught anything. Still I had a great time with my friends and want to go again (and hopefully catch something).

In terms of art, I really think that I cleaned up and finalized my style. I feel like this is definitely my best comic yet! There are still a few things I’m not satisfied with, but things will only get better!

Typically I’m a very stingy gamer. I don’t buy games unless they go on an extreme sale (ever heard of the Steam Sales?). However this just ends up with me spending more money on games just because they’re cheap. I cannot count the number of times I’ve made impulse purchases on games I didn’t care about only because I felt like I would lose money if I didn’t buy the game during the sale.

I also tried to experiment with a different brush styles in this comic. However I forgot to make the colors a separate layer when coloring it, forcing me to stick with some coloring mistakes. Dah well.

Contrary to what the comic shows, I am quite excited for UMvC3! They’re adding 12 new characters, 8 new stages, and rebalancing the whole cast! Some of the old cast are even getting brand new moves! They also optimizing the netcode and are finally adding online Spectator mode! Some people may complain about Capcom pumping out too many fighting games, but amount of extra content included makes it more than worth it!
